Disney USA Tour

R129000 per person

Planning a Disney/Universal holiday from South Africa for your family can be quite a thing. How to get there, where to stay, which resorts to go to etc, etc. The age of your children also influences this decision. You can’t take them too young, as they won’t remember/appreciate/make the size requirements for certain rides & you can’t take them when they are too old as they lose their craving for “Disney” plus when they older everything costs more.

Flights are pretty easy to choose as your budget will determine this very quickly. The most direct flights are usually the most expensive. Do you want to visit NYC or another US city, may play a role.

Do you book time share or stay in the resorts? The Disney resorts in Orlando are very spread out. You want to stay somewhere central, which has transport options, especially on the monorail or Skyliner to avoid any additional transport costs. You don’t want to have to hire a car really. However, you can also take Uber once in a while to a water park or Outlet mall. For the Universal resorts its easier as the two resorts are linked & not as spread out. When you stay in the Disney/Universal resorts the entrance tickets to the Theme parks are free of charge so you certainly safe money this way. When you stay in a Time Share you have to pay for the entrance tickets as well as transport to & from the Theme parks as well as parking costs. Staying in the resorts is a better option from that point of view.

We suggest doing Disney first then Universal. Universal has the more current rides & movie themes with the likes of Hulk, Spiderman, Harry Potter to name a few. Disney has had to up its game because of Universal, Hollywood studios now has Starwars, Epcot has Guardians of the Galaxy, Magic Kingdom is a must.

Prices based on 2 adults & 2 kids U/12 sharing.
